| 11-22 was acquired from the PA Department of Forestry. The unit is a 1985 Chevy Blazer 4X4 with a 4.7 litre diesel engine. The utility is used for support and for transporting manpower to fire emergencies, vehicle accidents, search parties, fire police activities, public service requests, and medical assists. Communications is achieved with an 800 mhz and a 46 mhz radio system. On board equipment varies depending on the season of the year. During the wildfire season, indian tanks and brush tools are carried to support brush 11-25. During the winter season, anti-skid, ashes, and snow shovels are carries to assist EMS in adverse weather. Year round equipment includes but is not limited to, traffic cones, first aid supplies, rehab supplies, box lights, hand tools, flares, sump pump, bolt cutters, and jumper cables.
